Life's Turns

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? I am sorry I haven't written a post in quite awhile. I just never thought about it or was too busy watching new Korean dramas on Hulu.com. A lot of new things have came up recently; I'm a little surprised! Mind if I update you on my life today? =)

The first thing is I'm moving by April! Not out of the country or anything, but 8 hours away from where I live now (by car). This means I'll have to start my life all over again. A new house, new neighborhood, new church, new friends, and I won't be able to be in my recital this year. =( I feel devastated. Especially after so much money was spent on the recital costumes. I know a lot of people have it worse than me, but I can't help feeling this way. I'll be moving even farther away from my family down in Southern California.

And the thing is, I'll have to still be home schooled. COME ON. So this just sucks and the place I'll be moving to is a small town of 7,300 people. It feels like my life is going to end, but maybe, just maybe, it's for the best! The reason I'm moving is because my dad got a new job, and he's not planning to move again after we move to this new place.

Another thing that is coming up is I have to do a Physical Science project. I've found a lot of cool experiments online that I'd like to do , but dumb dad doesn't like ANY of the ones I mentioned and says they're too easy. So, being a reasonable daughter that I am, I said, "Okay dad, you can look at the website and pick a few out that you like and I can look at them afterwards." He says, "You're the one doing the project, not me! Why do I have to look at them? Pick one out yourself!" =___=

Ugh he pisses me off sometimes! He wants me to pick one out, but he has the most horrible attitude. I wish he just didn't say anything! I always have to meet up to his high expectations. He makes me so stressed out. When I say something, he says "You're too young to be stressed." I'm about to explode because of this guy. Deep breathing Anzu... -_-*

Frustration

Recently, I've been trying to make new things. I've tried to make kettle corn which wasn't successful.. but some bits were okay! Today, I made Canned Tuna Patties and they were really yummy! Most of them didn't turn out as patties because the batter was too liquidy, but I can probably make it better next time. I just saw the video of this cooking tutorial this morning and tried it out. In the time that I have not been blogging, I have finished watching three dramas? Dream High, Dream High 2, You're Beautiful, and now I'm watching Heartstrings. Hulu is now my new best friend. =D I am so hooked to these dramas it's not even funny lol. So I guess if you haven't seen any of these, I'll go ahead and explain what they are about.

1. Dream High

 Southern Koren television drama that features Suzy, Taecyeon, IU, Wooyoung, Ham Eun Jung and Kim Soo-hyun. Six students at Kirin Art High School work to achieve their dreams of becoming stars in the Korean music industry. During the drama, the students learn how to develop their singing, songwriting and dancing skills while also undergoing personal growth. Each one of the students has his or her own strengths and weaknesses, but with the support and guidance of each other, they strive to debut on stage.

2. Dream High 2 A South Korean sequel to popular drama Dream High features actress Kang Sora, alongside 2AM's Jin Woon, T-ara's Ji-yeon, SISTAR's Hyorin, JB, and Park Seo Joon. Dream High 2 follows a group of students at the Kirin Art High School stars who pursue their dream of becoming K-Pop idol stars. The group of students in "Dream High Season 2" deals with a completely new group of students then those that were featured in Season One. In Season Two, after going into financial bankruptcy, the Kirin High School of Art has been taken over by Oz Entertainment. Competition then brews between then troubled students at Kirin High School of Art and then newly transferred in-training idol stars from Oz Entertainments.

3. You're Beautiful

A South Korean drama about a fictional boy band A.N.Jell and the relationship between its members when a female, posing as her twin brother, joins the group. It starred Park Shin-hye, Jang Geun Suk, Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa. Go Mi Nyu is a sister-in-training. Her twin brother Go Mi Nam successfully auditions for the musical band A.N.JELL but is forced to leave for the United States to correct a botched plastic surgery. Mi Nyu is approached by Mi Nam's manager to pose as Mi Nam while he recovers. She is against it at first but agrees in order to fulfill her dream of finding their mother. Now, posing as Mi Nam, Mi Nyu enters the group A.N.JELL and meets its members: Hwang Tae Kyung, Kang Shin Woo and Jeremy.

4. Heartstrings (the one I'm watching now)

Heartstrings is a South Korean youthful melodrama about the main characters' love, friendship and dreams, set against the backdrop of an arts university.

Spring's Coming

Woot woot!

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY! Without women, we wouldn't be here right now and babies wouldn't be born. How are you all doing? It is 11:23AM as I type up a new blog post and explore new things on the Internet. Yes, I have no life.. sadly. My blogs are pretty boring, but I'm glad that more people are taking their time to check out my blog. Thank you everyone! =)

Talking about how the Internet, it is really amazing that there is so many people on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter these days. A rave has been going on about the movement Kony 2012. It is about the a leader of the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army), Joseph Kony.

Since yesterday, the YouTube video "Kony 2012" has gone from 150,000 views to almost 37,000,000 views. It has been posted all over the social networks and gone completely viral. When I first saw this video yesterday morning, I cried. It was heartbreaking. Some people says all this is real, that he really is a bad guy. Other people say it's totally fake and a scam. If you ask me, I really don't know. I'm confused by all the articles and videos and it just isn't funny. Let's leave it at that for now.

So enough of Kony! Are you ready for spring? It is my favorite time of year and the fashion trends are the cutest! This year, according to Bubzbeauty, it is all about pastels. I love spring dresses as usual, but I think they're going to be even prettier this year. =) I love the pretty hairstyles, clothing, and weather that comes with spring! The only downside for me is this is when my allergies kick in. Lots of tissues and allergy medicine! I hope it's not just me.. sigh. -_-

I think the colors are very sweet and girly which is lovely, and I think I can rock this look. ^_^ I need to go shopping again some time! I haven't done so in I don't know how long. If you don't already, I hope you can come to love pastels!

 Friendship Wrap Bracelets are coming back in style and I recently watched a video about how to make these. I think they are so cute and the way anneorshine on YouTube makes them is so creative! She has another DIY video for just regular wrap bracelets (with rhinestones) too. I hope this blog post isn't too short! Doot Doot Doot...

Hello my sweet apple pies!

Yes, apple pie is what I am craving at the moment! It is the reason why I am sipping on some apple juice... okay random. I was extremely bored so I decided to write up a new blog post. It is currently 9:17PM which is the latest I've ever posted or even thought of posting. I hope you don't mind that I might post this entry tomorrow (March 3, 2012) instead of tonight. I don't know, maybe. I usually go

to sleep early, but not because I want to. I'd pull an all-nighter if I could.

So how is everyone doing? I am doing good! I had a birthday recently so all the congratulating makes me feel special. =) How do you like to spend your birthdays? A special night with your boyfriend/girlfriend, a nice dinner with family, movies with your closest friends, or a wild party with... I don't know. Fail. Well, just make sure it's safe and don't get high or drunk. =P Especially for the ones who are underage. I went out for a fancy dinner with my family, and I got treated out to ice cream. It was nice lol.

Oh, by the way. I ended up not going to my school's Physical Fitness testing because of personal reasons. I'm actually pretty happy that I didn't go, but for some reason I'm bummed out at the same time. At least I didn't have to embarrass myself by running the mile the slowest and experience an epic fail with the push ups. The more that I imagine it in my head, the more I think, "THANK GOD."

Macarons

I really wanted to try these French Macarons for my birthday. I have posted a video of a makeup tutorial inspired by them in a previous blog post. Michelle Phan went to Paris and got to taste them herself. I hear they're delicious and they are pretty popular these days. When I told my dad, he thought they were "macaroons" which are American cookies (biscuits I guess?). Oh well! There is a big difference though. They look so cute and I'd love to taste one of these!

I have found an awesome way to get rid of blackheads! I just discovered the tutorial video today, and it is very inexpensive and effective! I have tried it myself and it dries faster than pore strips. This may not work for those with sensitive skin. You can test it on an area of your arm. Okay, so I also saw a video today by a girl I subscribed to on YouTube. Her YouTube name is x3Hahah and she posted a video about her [Yumart] Fashion Haul and Review/Giveaway. As I kept watching the video, I realized that the clothes and accessories from http://shopyumart.weebly.com/ are REALLY cute. (Yumart sells authentic Taiwan brand items.) Of course, I'm broke and don't have any money so I decided to enter the giveaway. I hope I win! I fell in love with the website and the stuff that have on there. It is the very first giveaway I've ever entered.. super excited!

 

Recently, I've found a new K-Pop group called Brave Girls. I saw a video on YouTube of them practicing the choreography to their song (one of my favorites) "Do You Know". I will post the video down below and I hope you like this blog post! I'm in love with this choreography. These girls are so amazing, and I wish more and more people will discover their talent!

Another Day

Hello my kawaii potato chips!

Don't ask me why I labeled you guys as potato chips... because I'm guessing that's what I'm craving right now? =_= So how are you guys doing and what are you currently craving? It is 10:54AM as I start this blog entry and have no idea what to write about. I'm the type of person that just goes ahead and do things without planning or brainstorming. I just write what I feel like writing and what's on my mind at the moment.

So, this week is going on normally. I have dance tonight and tomorrow night as usual. The thing is, I have to do this Physical Fitness test on Friday. I am insanely out of shape.. you have no idea. =__= I can't do any push ups, and I'm probably the slowest runner you've ever seen. It's not like I'm fat or anything, I just have no muscles (technically not true, but..). The PE test is optional, but my parents are making me go. I was supposed to be training for it or whatever, but I never really got the chance (more like I didn't want to get my lazy butt off this chair).

 

Oh, right! I finally got my hair cut. Yey! I wanted to get it like Bubzbeauty, but my hair's sadly not long enough. I need at least four more inches, and then I'll be able to cut the layers right. So for now, I just have to stick with pretty much the same hairstyle, but my hair is thinner than before. It's because my layers were cut in a different way; I am so happy. Seriously. I'm loving my new style (even though it might not seem different at all), and I'm planning to let my straight-across-sterotypical-asian-bangs that I had for 2 years grow longer lol. =)

I was wondering what date it was today and I just realized that my birthday is coming up! I don't really need anything. I have the basic essentials. Food, a bed, and clothes. What else would I need? I'm trying to stay humble and not want anything. It's part of my New Year Resolutions! Remember those? I'm struggling on a lot of them, but as long as I catch up with them, no big deal right?

Bubzbeauty's Hairstyle

Bubzbeauty is truly inspirational, and even though she's just a normal girl, I really look up to her. She is definitely my role model, and I agree with her beliefs as well. I commend her for being able to be strong about her faith as a Christian. She's given me the courage to do just the same! I would be so much different if it wasn't for her, and I wouldn't know all the beauty tricks and hairstyles she has shared with us. I wish her good health and am glad that her hard work has paid off as a beauty guru. I love you Bubz! =D<3

So, I'm about to head out to run some errands soon since I'm finished with my homework for today. I want to stay home and watch more Korean dramas, but that's not happening. =/ Seeking Love has gotten better I have to say! The guy is still so gullible and his personality can be a little irritating, but at least I know why he has been so annoying. Even if it's because he believes everything he's told... never mind lol. You'll have to watch the drama! ^__^

Whitney Houston

1963-2012

So as everyone already knows, Whitney Houston has passed away. I was shocked, and so was everyone else. Now a lot people are questioning how her death came to be, and people say it's because of her excessive dose of drugs. Whatever it was, she will be greatly missed. Whitney is a true inspiration to me and all women out there. There are singers that have amazing talent just like her, but it's only Whitney that I've seen sing with such strong and passionate emotion. I tear up whenever I think she's gone, but I also remember that she wouldn't want us to be sad of her leaving us. Whitney Houston, we love you forever and always. We will never forget you.

New and Old

Hello my lovelies!

How are my viewers? I am doing well; I'm learning new things everyday! =) It is currently 4:03PM and it is quiet in my house. I am sorry that I have not been posting every single day. I either forget or my laziness takes over. Lol... So I have a lot to talk about! Let's get started.

It's the usual, but how was your Super Bowl? I'm not a huge fan of football, but I watched the half show and the second half of the game. I went to a Super Bowl party and watched it at a friend's. So for the first half of the game I ate lots of food and I walked a couple times around the neighborhood with my friend. We're girls, we don't watch football. =P We played card games though and overall, it was pretty fun.

Did your Valentine's go well? Mine was okay I guess. Just a normal day! The drama I am currently watching is called Seeking Love. I have tried watching it once before, but I was like um, no. So I tried watching it again the other day, and I have to say that I'm opening up to it. The main guy character is really irritating though, and he is the worst actor I have ever seen. Ever. At first, I was like "He's cute" lol. The girl is so pretty hahah. I love her hair! ^__^ I hope this drama gets better soon! I already know how it's going to end, but each drama is a little different I guess.

Seeking Love

I have been french braiding my hair in piggy tails a lot lately. If you leave it in long enough, it creates the prettiest waves. I prefer to wear it to sleep, but you can wear this hairstyle out too. I usually wear it for 8 hours maximum. I attempted to do it yesterday, but I only kept them in for a couple hours so it really didn't do anything. I wanted my hair wavy for dance practice, but I ended up not going.

Despite how I say "I don't want to go to dance tonight" each morning, I'm sad I missed out. =( I'm guessing no one realized I was absent anyway. So the reason I couldn't go to the studio is because I had a thing come up at school. I think it's the first time I skipped out. What can I say? The tuition is really expensive... I feel guilty now. =/

Thank you so much for reading. ^__^  I discovered an amazing store on YouTube today (Yes, YouTube has everything). It is called Fortnum & Mason and it is located in London. I love the people's British accents. <3 Their channel is very interesting! My favorite video of theirs is how they make their Rose Petal Jelly. I really want to make this; I want to go to this store someday~

Valentine's Day!

It's coming up!

Valentine's Day! In a lot of countries, including Japan and Korea, it is where girls give handmade chocolates to the guy they like. Confessions, I love yous, and a lot of hearts. Everything is supposed to be pink and girly. I wish! Reality is, most girls just look forward to the candy and dressing up frilly. It's on a Tuesday this year; what's romantic about that?

Sorry for the negative feelings! We can still dream right? Hehe... So! A drama I am watching right now is called The Greatest Love. It's cute, but the characters can be annoying. I love the guy in this drama, he's hilarious. His name is Doko Jin and he has such a "unique" personality. This drama is really goofy and cute! I'm loving it so far! Not as much as the drama My Lovely Samsoon though.

What is your favorite part of Valentine's Day? The dressing up, confessing, or chocolates? I personally love chocolates (lol personally). No matter what kind! What about you? Unless you're allergic to it, how can you not love all the sweets that come with a valentine? ^_^

Next week is Valentine Week at my dance studio! So we get to dress up in "Valentine attire". It will be so fun! I don't even think I have any "Valentine attire", but I will try to find something lol. I always forget about holidays so I usually end up missing the fun. =/ It's pretty nice to have something to look forward to, but I don't really get the purpose of Valentine's Day. I guess it doesn't matter! My friends would say, "Who cares?". =)

Would you have the guts to confess to the guy you like? I don't! I've done it when I was just a little kid, and the boy made fun of me. He told everyone that he would go out with me if I said yes. I did. He just laughed at me and told me it was a joke. =( Jerk. Don't let that bring you down though! If you know you truly like this guy, and you know for sure that he's a great person, go for it! You never know until you try! Don't be a wimp like me. ^_~

Okay, I have to say that this is my most favorite video of Michelle Phan's. It's called The Sweetest Thing. It's actually a makeup tutorial, but she has a storyline with it. It's very cute and, well... sweet! At first, I was going to post up a music video or one of Bubzbeauty's, but this just has the Valentine feel don't you think? ^_^ It fits the theme. One day I will try this lovely spring look. =)

Laziness in Full Effect

Hello viewers!

How are you doing? It is 11:39AM as I write this blog post and throw a slight temper tantrum. I'm probably the laziest person in the world right now. I have to take mid-term assessments that I forgot about during winter break. Ugh! I don't want to do it! I'm a spoiled brat, I know. School starts on the 17th of January next week for me. :(

Classes at my dance studio started back up on January 8th. Surprisingly, I'm not sore at all from yesterday. Dance was better than usual too! Even though we barely did any technique, it was fun. I am really, really bad at technique; you have no idea. :P Starting this week, all the classes at my studio are working on dances for our Recital that takes place this June. I'm excited!

The rest of the week went by as usual, other than eating out for dinner once. I'm starting to read a lot more, basically romance novels. Yeah, I have a thing for those lol. I'm still proud of myself. ^_^

Bubzbeauty (Lindy Tsang) recently talked about going back to our favorite past times. I feel a little sad when I think about how I completely stopped drawing. Drawing was a way to express myself and try new things. I've been way too lazy lately; I'm disappointed in myself. I just haven't been getting any great ideas.

I have found blogging as a new past time! It is definitely enjoyable for me. I don't know if anyone even passes by my blog though. Remember how I said I got 300 views? I realized that those 300 views could all have just been me, checking to see if I gotten at least one new follower. :'( I daydream that one day, I will have tons of followers, waiting to read my posts. I think that would be amazing. =)

Daydreaming...

Okay, guys. Lie to Me, the drama I have been watching, has gotten so annoying! I have been trying to watch the whole thing because of the lead actress (I love her, because of her role in Coffee Prince), but I just can't stand it anymore! Ugh seriously; I got down to the second to the last episode. Recently, I tried to watch the Korean drama The Snow Queen. After the 4th episode, I couldn't stand the lead actress. She is so freaking irritating!! Lol, okay sorry I didn't mean to say freaking. =P

I do really love Hyun Bin though. He is adorable! :D It's just that the character of the girl in the drama is such a spoiled brat! Grr she makes me so mad. I love the story line and lead actor over all though. ^_^ I hope I can find an enjoyable Korean drama like Boys Over Flowers and Coffee Prince soon.

The Snow Queen



I finally cleaned my room guys! Lol, I don't do it very often. That's also due to my laziness! I actually have very good hygiene and cleaning skills, but when it comes to my room, it's a total disaster. You can actually see the floor now. I still have to clean and sort out my closet, which will definitely take me all day long. I'm really not looking forward to it; I know it needs to be done because I have two heaps of clothes in baskets, a lot of laundry, and my whole closet is a mess. I have a super small closet. I wish I had a walk in! That would be SO nice.

I need to be a lot cleaner.

Keep strong with your New Year resolutions. I have one wish for New Years, to get at least one follower on my blog; it would mean the WORLD to me. I'm going to push my laziness aside, and do the chores I need to do today. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Challenges

Hello everyone!

How are you doing? It is 2:38PM as I write up a new blog post. Above is a picture of the K-pop group MBLAQ. I am fairly new to them, but I fell in love with them at first sight hahah. I learned about them on YouTube when I was looking for new songs to play on my keyboard. I found their song Scribble; I fell in love with the instrumental, the actual song, and then the group itself. ^_~

The first link is to the actual song and the second link is to the instrumental on piano. The instrumental is done by a program called Synthesia. I LOVE it. It is very similar to Guitar Hero, except it is done with piano. Since it's on the computer, it's a lot harder with the keyboard on my net book. I failed.. but hey! I suck at Guitar Hero too, so no biggy right?

Oh, by the way! I've discovered more updates on my iPhone since I've updated it. It turns out, on iPhone 3G, you can't multitask or have home screen backgrounds even with an iOS 4. I'm a little happier I have to admit about the other stuff, but I'm still pretty stumped that I lost all my contacts and music while restoring. Yeah, it was my fault because I didn't do it properly. I'm glad I could get so many more apps though. Actually, I was ecstatic hahah. =)

All day today and yesterday, I have been out of my mind. There's nothing to do! Well, that's not totally true, but I really want to get out of the house and actually do something. I hope I'll be able to do something this weekend at least. Boredom hasn't really affected me this much in a long time.

Good news! I just got 300 views (all time) on my blog! Yay! I'm so happy hahah. But I'm still a little sad that I don't have any followers yet. Thank you for those who have been reading along with my mood swings and boring passages though.

I have been running out of ideas on what to write about these days. Hmm.. I know that lately, I've been more open about my faith. Yes, I am a Christian, but I don't have anything against people of other religions. Trust me. =)

I've been doing this Proverbs task this month. It is where I read a chapter of Proverbs in my Bible every day of the month. There are 31 chapters, so it fits perfectly don't you think? I feel happy and complete when I read my Bible.

Sorry I'm Late!

How many days has it been?

Gorgeous lovelies, I am so sorry I haven't been updating you in I don't know how long! Please forgive me!! It is 3:26PM as I lay on a beaten up mattress and write this blog post. I have so many things to tell you! I'll just give you the highlights. =)

Excitement

Tsunami State Youth Conference was AMAZING! There were amazing speakers, bands, and singers. I learned so much, and it was an experience I can never forget. There were also classes called Hot Topics, a Tsunami Choir, and different Ministry Projects we could do. I felt touched, and it was an opportunity to touch others. The speakers that were there were Jeff Wallace and Billy Beachem; they were both amazing, humorous, and very likable people. It was extraordinary to see so many people come to Christ. Tsunami is for First Southern Baptist youths anyways.. and more! ^_^

I will also never forget my friends and the music there. There was Shonlock, Superchic[k], and Travis Ryan. My favorite was Travis, he leads worship at Saddleback Church. There was loud Christian music, great ministry, and over 2,000 kids from 6th-12th grade. Usually, there are over 5,000 people there; Daryl Watts, the person that runs Tsunami, said it will be called Ignition next year. He said Tsunami was "dead"; even though I don't particularly like that term, it is true. I'm happy I got to be at the last Tsunami!

Another thing that is news to you, is that I finally have gotten my first purity ring! I am so happy and was so excited to get it! I got it at the conference as a souvenir. When a girl wears a purity ring, she is telling everyone that she will not have sex until she gets married. It's a Christian thing lol, and it means that we made that promise with God. Sounds super religious, but not at all when you think about it. If you want a little more info on that, click the link below.

My purity ring is a silver, solid pewter ring and it says "Purity" on it. It has two butterflies on each side lol. It was $8.99 I believe? Super expensive, but it's pretty cheap compared to the other ones I see online. Mine is pretty simple; I don't need no fancy jewels hahah. =) Mine has a few scratches on it from taking a tag off with a large pocket knife; I'd say it's pretty unique now lol.  Here is a picture of what my ring looks like.

Something has been seriously taking up my time ALL day today. After a very long time of wanting my dad to update my cracked iPhone 3G, I got fed up and tried to do it myself. I believe I started around 11AM. Since this is my first time doing it, it took me forever to find the right website to download the programs and firmwares that were needed.

After downloading redsn0w, iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Custom_Restore, iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore, and iTunes, I went on with the process of DFU mode. That also took me forever, because I didn't know how to do it correctly. It turns out I did all these extra steps so until I figured it out (it takes me awhile), it had already been over 2 hours. UGH.

Then, I started iTunes up and it is supposed to be restoring the software on my phone with iOS 4.2.1, but it is taking FOREVER and the little loading bars froze on me. Can this get any worse? I am so sorry to be complaining and whining right when I just started posting again... and with little children in third world countries starving. I'm just so frustrated! Grrrrrr....

How was your Christmas and New Years? Mine was great! I didn't do anything special for New Years though. I just watched movies with my dad 'till midnight on New Year's Eve and went over to a friend's for dinner on New Year's Day. It was nice. ^_^

I hope all of you will love and live and start anew! Make memories, goals, and much more! I know, I myself did not start off 2012 with the best attitude. Even if you feel like crap, smile and make resolutions. Try and make the best out of yourselves! Be creative, try new things, grow, and know you'll be okay in the year's come. Make new friends and make amends with old ones. =)
